Dear Vacation,

This is what I want from you:

Work has me hyperventilating. I really need a beautiful place to wash the stress away…a place with panoramic ocean views, a gorgeous pool area for lounging in the sun. Oh, and I would like to be mere steps from a beautiful, white sand beach. 

I would also like my accommodations to be both stylish and comfortable, with plenty of space for my kids and a master bedroom oasis for me and my hubby. While you’re at it, please add a private balcony where I can enjoy my morning coffee and watch the waves.

My family loves great food and, of course, we need something for everyone; so I have to be in a place that is close to diverse deliciousness…and some waterfront dining would also be superb!

We are a pretty active bunch, so we would also expect some great things to do. I would love it if there were places close by where we could rent kayaks, paddleboards and bicycles…maybe even a boat! The kids would love it if we were a convenient drive to the country’s most famous theme parks. My husband wants to check out Cape Canaveral; and I would enjoy exploring historic St. Augustine – so they should both be pretty close as well.

We’d also like to do some shopping in a charming, seaside town; take in a round of golf on our choice of challenging courses…and maybe enjoy an interactive experience at a Marine Discovery Center where you can take boat tours in the largest aquatic estuary in the United States!

Is that asking too much?
