As our world attempts to morph back into some semblance of normalcy, we are hoping that the wonderful events New Smyrna Beach has always been known for will once again come into play. From parades, to live concerts, to art and cultural events and fun festivals, New Smyrna has always been the life of the party! Here is just a sampling of what we hope we can expect in New Smyrna Beach the remainder of this year…

March is the month for Daytona Bike Week and its thunderous roar, so get ready for thousands of motorcycles, street festivities, tons of live music, one of our country’s largest motorcycle swap meets, motorcycle competitions and a whole lot of other amazing entertainment.

The New Smyrna Beach Blues Festival in May is a four-day musical event. It’s a harmonious place where revelers are entertained by talented musicians while they visit numerous booths filled with great arts, crafts, games and food.

In June, New Smyrna Beach is host to the Seaside Fiesta on Flagler Avenue and the New Smyrna Beach Annual Shrimp and Seafood Festival in August, with samplings from Volusia County’s finest restaurants, is also sure to please!

Fall is a lovely time of year in New Smyrna, with plenty of historic ghost and goblin tours to fill the nights and the NewSmyrnaWeen parade to fill the day. Speaking of parades, Christmastime offers one by land and one by sea for whichever is your pleasure! We also light up our New Smyrna Beach streets with thousands of sparkling lights in honor of the holidays. Then, of course, there is the spectacular fireworks display on New Year’s Eve which no one should miss!

Next year, we hope to get back on track in January with the New Smyrna Beach Festival of the Arts in January, where hundreds of pieces of art will hopefully be on display and the New Smyrna Beach Chowder Festival where more than 30 talented chefs will compete in a culinary cook-off beyond compare!

Fat Tuesday promises great fun with a Mardi Gras parade and party and the Daytona International Speedway, the iconic home to NASCAR, is sure to be revving up for the Daytona 500. You’ll want to be sure to take in this exhilarating race if you are so inclined!
