One of the best things I remember about vacationing in New Smyrna Beach – aside from the gorgeous ocean views and palm trees virtually everywhere you looked – was the live music.

We lived close to Philadelphia and Wilmington at the time, so we thought we had it good. It’s pretty happening there, but live music is almost everywhere you turn in this area! The New Smyrna Beach area is always bursting with engaging events – many of which offer live music. Then there are the beachside bars that have bands every weekend. Or you could take a short drive to Daytona Beach and listen to live bands in almost any venue. Boothill even offers live acoustical performances on Sunday. And when it is Bike Week or Biketoberfest, the amount of live music you can take in everywhere is just insane!

If you have ever vacationed here, you know that something about New Smyrna Beach is magical. The locals are friendly, the breezes are gentle, and residents here are never lacking for something to do. Within just three months of that vacation, we bought a house and moved here! Now we can enjoy live bands whenever the mood strikes us…and that happens to be pretty often!
