When we power down and unplug, we often discover the most valuable treasures in life. That’s the time when family reconnects and precious moments are made.

Makes me think of Sunday brunches with Dad, where we linger over croissants and coffee, each reluctant to push our chairs back and end the magic; or when we get to spend time on the bench in his garden and get lost in his colorful stories about the past.

This year, we are raising the reconnect bar with a Sandpiper vacation. It’s perfect because Dad is getting up in age. We can book a lower level unit, so that it is easy for us to come and go, and we are just steps from the beautiful beach. If we decide we don’t want to go anywhere, that’s fine too because Sandpiper offers so many great things right on the property. There’s a putting green so Dad can practice his golf swing; there is a magnificent pool area with heated pools and umbrellas for Dad’s comfort; and the private balcony offers salty, gentle breezes and a gorgeous ocean view. What’s more is that Central Florida’s weather makes him feel good…heck, it makes everyone feel good!

There are so many fun things to see and do around Sandpiper Condominiums and Florida’s greatest attractions are all nearby. So, when we do decide to venture out, we plan to eat some fabulous meals at relaxing oceanfront dining venues and we may even book a rejuvenating massage at a nearby spa. Then we can check out the iconic Daytona International Speedway and Kennedy Space Center.
