One thing is for sure. You’re never at a loss for things to do in New Smyrna Beach. Of course, there are the pristine waters that gently lap our pristine shoreline which are great for fishing or frolicking. There is a thriving art community with countless art galleries and historic streets for browsing; and don’t forget lively Flagler Avenue when you’re ready for fun!

Recently Daytona added a new attraction to its fun-filled roster – the aquarium. Visitors are welcome to stroll through Gator Alley, Ray Bay, Shark Reef, The Amazon and get their fill of reptiles in the Lizard Lair and the Frog Swamp. The Rain Forest Exhibit is full of toucans, sloths, tamarins and more; and there is even an arcade and gift shop. There are also eight different virtual reality quests to experience, from Flight of the Mantas to the Thrill Coaster, which soars above the city. 

So, if you happen upon a rainy day (which, by the way, don’t usually last too long here anyway), movies schmoovies! Try out the new Daytona Aquarium for a one-of-a-kind adventure! It’s great for date night and even under the sea weddings!
