The Taco Shack is a fun, open-air venue in New Smyrna Beach run by a husband and wife team…a culinary match made in heaven. Michael attended culinary school, and Emily earned her degree in Hospitality Management. Emily works the window while Michael prepares appetizing dishes. It couldn’t get much better! With Michael working side-by-side with Emily’s brother, Emily’s dad delivering food orders to the table and Emily’s mom and the kids keeping the place spotless, it truly is a family affair.

Michael and Emily opened the doors in 2010 and have spent years cultivating their mouthwatering Mexican menu. There’s so much to choose from at The Taco Shack. Customers can pick their favorite meat, including roasted pork, shredded chicken, seasoned beef, adobe shrimp and mojo steak, for almost every entrée; and spice up their lives with three delicious sauces. There are fish tacos, taco salads, Cubans, quesadillas, nachos, burritos, chimichangas and a host of other Latin treats! Sides include fried sweet plantains, yucca fries, seasonal vegetables and yellow or Spanish rice. There is always a soup of the day and desserts to die for. The menu for the ninos showcases a mini cheese quesadilla and hotdogs, fries, chicken nuggets and cookies for the not-so-adventurous.
